Haters By M.I.A

Haven’t really been hyped about M.I.A’s new material, but after hearing this new track – I gotta say, I’m definitely paying more attention…

It’s unclear as to whether or not ‘Haters’ will be featured on M.I.A’s upcoming album /\/\/\Y/\ (Maya) or whether it’s a track made in response to a recent New York Times interview where by a journalist allegedly misrepresented what the artist had said which then prompted M.I.A to post her number online (ouch).

Regardless of where it comes from, the beat on this track is insane. And, for the first time in a long time, I actually like the way M.I.A is singing/rapping on it. Really quite impressed with this. Dope.
