She popped! Mariah Carey finally gave birth to her twins yesterday, welcoming the next generation of diva to the world. However, this event has a special twist.

Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, welcomed their baby boy and girl to the world at 12:07pm ET today. This is a momentous occasion not only because of the new additions to the family but because it also marked the couple’s 3rd wedding anniversary.

The world’s best-selling female artist married Cannon in a surprise ceremony in spring 2008, after a brief whirlwind romance. Their twins make both of them 1st time parents.
