Matrix 4 and 5? In 3-D!

The Matrix is often quoted as the favorite movie of many geeks and nerds, and personally one of my favorites as well. Despite the horrible sequels that came to follow, I'm still a big fan of the original and I figured my first post should be this exciting tid-bit of news.

According to a letter sent in to AICN, the great Neo himself had this to say...

Keanu stated that he still has an obligation to the fans to deliver a movie worthy of the title “The Matrix” and he swears this time that the treatment will truly revolutionize the action genre like the first movie. Wachowski’s are working on a movie called “Cloud Atlas” at the moment, once that concludes they will talk again.

Reeves also said that he’s met with the Wachowskis and said that they had finished work on a 2-picture script treatment for the next Matrix movies. Wait, that’s not all, word has it they’ve also discussed 3D with James Cameron.

Honestly, I think this is a great idea. Even though the follow-ups sucked, I still think they can reach the greatness of the original. Plus, it's in 3-d, so that sounds awesome. What do you think?

New Video: Christina Aguilera – ‘I’m A Good Girl’

Here is yet another release from Christina Aguilera. ‘I’m A Good Girl’ is a video from her new ‘Burlesque’ film which hits cinemas on November 24th. Check it out below:




This is proof once again that when Aguilera uses restraint she can deliver a very enjoyable vocal performance. Her voice was colourful and suited the scene quite well.

However, I would be lying if I said this movie looked exciting. It seems that, other than Aguilera’s impressive pipes, it will be yet another musical framed by corny acting and bad cabaret. Then again, maybe Aguilera will surprise us with an award-wining performance. If Beyonce could get nominated for a Golden Globe for Dreamgirls then anything is possible.

Kanye West - Runaway The Movie

KanYe is a genius. Just had to say that. It’s true. He is one of (if not the) defining figures in popular culture today. We may not always agree with what he does or says, we may be confused by some of the things he creates – but underpinning all of that is his continuous effort to not only create art but also to push forward pop culture.

Visually the piece was beautiful. The colours, the imagery, the movement – everything about the way it was made was brilliant.
