JoJo Reveals Title Of New Album

The storm has finally passed for JoJo. After years of weathering label drama, the songbird is finally ready to return to music. In a viral video, the 20-year-old revealed the new title of her third album, "Jumping Trains", named after one of her favorite songs on the upcoming Interscope Records project.

“My third album will be called Jumping Trains and it’s very symbolic for a variety of reasons,” explained JoJo.

“Moving from Boston to L.A., transitioning from being a girl to being a young woman, living on my own, taking a different direction sonically, and just really finding myself and just jumping into a new chapter of life.”

The album, her first since 2006’s The High Road, was previously titled All I Want Is Everything. She will announce the first single and shoot a video in the coming weeks. To hold over her patient fans, JoJo released a free mixtape Can’t Take That Away From Me via Rap-Up.com last year.

Adele Covers Billborad Magazine

London born soul singer Adele has stormed the UK charts, selling over 200,000 copies of her sophomore album 21 in just one week. This not only puts her (comfortably) in the #1 position, but also makes her new LP the biggest selling January album in 5 years.Adele has even more to celebrate as her debut album 19 also re-entered the charts this week, currently sitting at #4. Incredible.

As if all that wasn’t enough the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer also covers the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, securing some massive U.S promo – which I’m sure will confidently reflect into album sales. None of this is surprising. It’s all very much deserved. 21 is a strong album and a fantastic follow up to her Grammy award winning debut. Congrats!

NEW VIDEO: T.I – ‘GET BACK UP (FT. CHRIS BROWN)’

The video for T.I and Chris Brown’s ‘Get Back Up‘ lifted from the rapper’s ‘No Mercy’ album which will be available on December 7th. Look below for all the action :



This was a simple yet effective video. It captured the essence of the song and Brown’s presence kept things light-hearted.

Still, the message of this record is completely lost on me because of T.I’s recent legal woes. How many times does he plan to fall into a jail cell and get back up? It seems that he rather enjoys the experience.

New Video: Fantasia – ‘I’m Doin Me’

Fantasia keeps the ball rolling with the video new single ‘I’m Doin Me’ – which premièred minutes ago on VEVO. The release is the latest to be lifted from the American Idol star’s 3rd studio album ‘Back to Me’ - which debuted at #2 Billboard 200 back in August.





It’s pretty much a given that Fantasia is ranked rather high here at That Grape Juice, yet it’s important to keep it real. That was a recession-special. No if’s, but’s, or maybe’s.

The worse part of the whole shabang is that the problem lay not with the video set nor the storyline. Instead it was the post-production. Something about the editing, lighting, and whatnot, came across distinctly cheap. Put simply, the video lacked the all-important gloss which, otherwise, would have made it that much better.

Still, the clip is cute. But is ‘cute’ enough when as of last week ‘Back to Me’ had sold just 283,000 copies? Unfortunate given how amazingly solid it is. Here’s hoping this release, along with her forthcoming tour, and VH1 reality show promo, help push the album to at least Gold status.

Keyshia Cole's New Single Drops This Friday

Keyshia Cole has confirmed via her Twitter Page that her new single, "I Ain't Through," featuring SNicki Minaj will be dropping this Friday!

With not much said as far as the sound of the record goes, Keyshia has assured us that the song will be dope. A music video for the single will be shot at the end of October in New York. Benny Boom is one of the directors in mind set to handle the clip.

Let's hope Keyshia really pulls out the stops for this new single and album. I'm hoping that "I Ain't Through" is an up-tempo that moves people quite like her 2007 hit, "Let It Go." Some sick vocals from Keyshia and a dope verse from Snicki would give me life. Keyshia's fourth studio album is aimed for a late 2010/early 2011 release.

The 1st track to be lifted from JoJo’s upcoming ‘Can’t Take That Away From Me’ mixtape has just surfaced. ‘In The Dark’ was co-written by the young singer herself and produced by Jordan Gatsby.



The bass on this track goes hard. It’s great to see JoJo taking her music in a different direction than the Disney Pop sound that most people associate with her look and sound. She has certainly grown as an artist and I am really waiting to see what else she has to offer, especially on the vocal front given her impressive range.

Usher & Pitbull - DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again [Video]

Usher and Pitbull's video for "DJ Got Us Falling In Love" is above. The clip turns out to be a well shot but typical music video and has Usher up to his usual antics, having a good time in a party environment.

The single has already blown up on charts worldwide, becoming a Top 10 hit in the likes of the US, UK and Australia. It is the first official release off of Usher's new EP, "Versus," which is currently available for purchase.
