NEW MUSIC: SOLANGE – ‘LEFT SIDE DRIVE’

Solange digs in the crates and shares a previously unheard song with her fans. Written two years ago over Scottish duo Boards of Canada’s “Left Side Drive,” the 24-year-old singer gently coos over the electronic beat.

“It’s completely unofficial, and was just inspired by the song which i have had a deep love affair with for years,” she explained, adding, “I am a huge Boards of Canada fan, and got the chance to work with them on Sol-Angel on ‘This Bird’. Still feel honored to this day.”

NEW TRACK: Kanye West – ‘Lost In The World’

Brand new from the upcoming album, features ‘Ye trying to find himself over a Bon Iver ‘Woods’ sample.

He’s switched it up a little exhibiting a more Afro-beat kick drum patterning with the 808s, but he’s not lost his fondness for the Antares and the tribal business last seen on ‘Heartbreaks’.

Haven’t heard a number sounding this jubilant in a long time, haha. It’s got heart. And is that Gil Scot Heron I hear at the end there?
