Adele Covers Billborad Magazine

London born soul singer Adele has stormed the UK charts, selling over 200,000 copies of her sophomore album 21 in just one week. This not only puts her (comfortably) in the #1 position, but also makes her new LP the biggest selling January album in 5 years.Adele has even more to celebrate as her debut album 19 also re-entered the charts this week, currently sitting at #4. Incredible.
As if all that wasn’t enough the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer also covers the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, securing some massive U.S promo – which I’m sure will confidently reflect into album sales. Head over to billboard.com to read the magazines full length feature on her – it’s a good read!
None of this is surprising. It’s all very much deserved. 21 is a strong album and a fantastic follow up to her Grammy award winning debut. Congrats!

Jennifer Hudson premiered the first single off her sophomore album I Remember Me earlier today. The ballad was written by R.Kelly and produced by Harvey Mason Jr.
J-Hud also revealed that the new album (out March 22nd) will feature collaborations with Alicia Keys (‘I Need Love’), and Ne-Yo (‘Why Is It So Hard’). She also mentioned that I Remember Me will include a gospel song, but “will have something for everyone”, including up-tempo songs.

Nicki Minaj On The Cover V Magazine + Photo Shoot..

As earlier reported, Hip-Pop phenom Nicki Minaj features in the latest issue of V Magazine. However, it’s only today that the star’s spread in the publication surfaced – and what a spread it is.
Made up to resemble what can only be described as a modern take on African tribalism, Minaj’s shoot is eye-catching at the very least.
That said, what you do think of the shoot: ‘fashion’ or fool?

Video: Lauryn Hill Performs Intimate Gig to Kick Off Tour
Via: RollingStone
Lauryn Hill Schedules Rare Shows
Needless to say, Hill’s tardiness upset many fans in attendance, all of whom made it out to the show despite harsh weather and patchy public transportation options following a severe blizzard in the New York area. But going on footage from the gig making the rounds today, the fans who waited it out — including Prince and Janelle Monae, both in town for a concert at Madison Square Garden tonight — were in for a treat.
Hill performed a 14-song set that included new arrangements for hits from her debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and her days with The Fugees, as well as an obscure Bob Marley cover at the top of the set.
One inspired performance, captured in the clip above, shows Hill and her band segueing a gorgeous rendition of the Flamingos classic “I Only Have Eyes For You” into the Fugees’ “Zealots,” which was built from a sample of the original Flamingos recording.
This show was the first of a tour of intimate venues mainly in the Northeast, but it was originally meant to be the second. A performance at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan was scheduled for Monday night, but had to be rescheduled due to the blizzard.

Natasha Bedingfield - Strip Me [Official Album Cover]

The official artwork to Natasha Bedingfield's "Strip Me" album is above.
The UK singer gets tribal on the cover for her fourth studio album, which is set for a December release. It's a decent cover, I'm not head over heels in love with it but it'll do. Most of the leaks have been fantastic and the likes of Brian Kennedy, Wyclef Jean, Sam Sparro, Ryan Tedder and Mike Elizondo have produced for Natasha, so it'll be interesting to hear the album in full.
