GAME CHANGERS [PART 1] - Lupe Fiasco, Estelle, B.o.B & Janelle Monae

Janelle Monae, Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B,,& Estelle are 4 individuals that you barely hear on a Urban Radio station, due to the ignorance of todays Radio listeners. With such epic songs Like "Cold War","I'm Beamin","The Kids", and "Fall In Love" you would think that these artiest would be at the top of the heap but sadly their not.

VIDEO: Janelle Monae Performs ‘BaBopByeYa’ With Live Orchestra

Janelle Monae is unlike any other artist around today. I’ve been saying that for nearly 3 years now. 2010 was the year the rest of the world realised it and while the majority of ears remain asleep on this incredible talent, good peoples such as yourselves are thankfully well clued up.

Anyways – until’ tonight I hadn’t heard or seen Monae perform ‘BaBopByeYa’, one of the many highlights off her debut The ArchAndroid. In the video up top she performs the epic ballad backed by the Emory Symphony Orchestra at Emory University’s Schwartz Center in Atlanta, Georgia – her performance is spellbinding. Everything about it from her dress, to her posture, her seamless and powerful vocals – everything. Goosebumps.

Janelle Monae...

....... rocked the stage for the Last Call with Carson Daly show. The performance was performed at The Viper Room in Los Angeles, California. Check out Monae’s live performance of her latest single, “Cold War.”

REMIX: Janelle Monae – ‘Faster’ x ‘Dance or Die’ (Nirobi Re Edit)

Just spotted these over at SoulBouce and liked what I heard, so thought I’d share em’ with you good folks. Robert Luis, co-owner & founder of the Tru Thoughts label has re-edited two of the best tracks on Monae’s debut album The Archandroid by not only separating them (the two blend into each other on the LP) but also by adding some new drums to em’ – to “make them more DJ friendly”. I like what he’s done to both the tracks, the difference from the originals is noticable but not so that it ruins their greatness.

Gilles Peterson liked them too – never a bad look. Listen and download both remixes below.
